Keep Scotland Beautiful Awards

This year Dollar Horticultural Club and Dollar in Bloom have been taking part in the Keep Scotland Award scheme. Working with local groups and volunteers across the town we have spent the last few months planting, weeding, cleaning, watering, litter picking and much more to ensure Dollar remains a beautiful place to live.

On 9th September at the Keep Scotland Beautiful Awards event in Aberdeen, Dollar achieved the highest award level (Gold) and was also awarded both Best Small Town and the award for Community Horticulture.

We were absolutely delighted to achieve these awards. A great example of what can be achieved when the whole community works together!
